“I thought about it for seven to 10 minutes and decided to go for it,” said Barone, who began modeling part time last summer. “At first I said, ‘OK, great! A job!’ Then I had to think about the possibility of the future, whether it would be considered good or bad (professionally). “It’s a good opportunity to get national exposure,” said Barone, 26, not meaning to make the pun. “You have to let people know the human being instead. “But you still have to come through as a person,” he said.
